A Christmas To Remember Festival

Tis the season! This festival is packed with street vendors, activities at our local library (just a hop away from Chaparral). On Saturday night, there will be a lighted parade beginning at 8pm. This is the best place to get into the holiday spirit! We will have drink & food specials all weekend.

7th Annual Broom Ride

Join us in our annual family friendly broom ride around the downtown square. We will gather at 7pm - come dressed in your witch costume, bring a broom or noise maker and at 7:30pm we will fly around the square. We will gather back at Chaparral for hot chocolate & treats for the kids and Black Magic Margaritas for the grown ups. Goblin Dance Party tunes provided by Jason Chronis (of Tellanovella). This is an event that’s not to be missed!

An intimate acoustic night filled with song swapping from locals Danny Lee (The Night Beats), Natalie Ribbons (TellaNovella), and Phil Hollie. All proceeds will go directly to the Caldwell County Homeless Coalition. Show starts at 8:45pm, arrive early to save your spot! $10 suggested donation (all going towards the Homeless Coalition).

Good Dog BINGO & Special Book Signing

Good Dog BINGO is a monthly event hosted by Mr. Brown’s Pet Stop and each month Jamee (the owner and host) raises money for a good cause - Kingdom Rescue. This month, Jamee is hosting BINGO at Chaparral Cantina. We are also honored to partner with local author Pagan Jackson who will be hosting a book signing of her book “Living with Pet Loss Grief”.

5-6pm - Book Signing with Pagan Jackson

6:30-7pm - Grab your BINGO card ($5 per card); Grab a bite, a beverage and get settled.

7pm-8pm: Expect at least 3 rounds with a chance to win a prize bag filled with loot from your favorite local business and beyond!

Plum Creek Records & Tapes is taking it to the mean streets of Lockhart with a monthly residency at local favorite coffee shop, Chaparral. You can catch them spinning and sling’ the platters while you snag your morning coffee or wait in line for Barbs B Q. DJ Yance-man will be manning the tables Saturday September 13th from 9am-11am and the dynamic plum duo will be back next month for more fun.
